The ISK 25th Anniversary Gala was an incredible evening of community, entertainment, celebration and supporting each other through some hard news.  With over 300 guests it was an unbelievable expression of the support and love that people have for ISK.

Special guests included: Anna Korfel Jasinska – Deputy Mayor of Krakow representing Mayor of Krakow Prof. Jacek Majchrowski; Kathryn Porter – ISK Board of Trustees Chair and Acting Consul General of the United States of America in Kraków; Jozef Lassota – Mayor of Kraków in 1993, currently Member of Polish Parliament; Anne Hall – ISK Board of Trustees Chair (2006-2008) currently United States Ambassador to Lithuania, and Victor Ashe – United States Ambassador to Poland (2004-2009) among others.

But as much as anything it was the performances by our own parents, students and staff that stole the evening.  The Lutley Boys, the Gala Band, Secondary School Choir, Flamenco group, Oscar on Piano, ABBA Flashback, Tomek and Detox, and the Teacher Uptown Funk Flash Mob all gave us great entertainment.  And, as always the auctions and Prime Time gave us the opportunity to contribute to the school.

We also launched the fundraising for our Sport and Community Center and, in case you were wondering, it still is never too late to Donate! and get added to the Donor Wall.  Thank you to everyone who made a donation in support of ISK’s ongoing excellence and development.
