Roma Ligocka at ISK
On a sunny and warm September 20th afternoon ISK had a wonderful guest. Roma Ligocka, who is a writer, painter, costume and stage designer and Holocaust survivor visited our school and met with the students. The students asked questions about her life in the Krakow Ghetto, her experience after the war, and her career. Roma Ligocka also asked questions and gave the opportunity for open dialogue about life, tolerance, and our impact on modern world. The meeting was filled with discussion about the past, present and future. It was an amazing afternoon!
